Emergency Housing

Our emergency housing services provide supported short-term housing for individuals and families in urgent need of a place to stay. We work with people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, have experienced domestic and family violence, need support to transition to independent living, and others who are without a safe, suitable place to call home.

We provide crisis and transitional accommodation in various towns across Central Queensland, so you don’t have to move away from your local community to access these services.

While you’re staying in Anglicare Central Queensland’s crisis or transitional housing, we’ll work with you to address the issues that are making it hard for you to find a long term home. We can also put you in touch with other supports which may be able to provide help specific to your circumstances.

To apply for emergency housing, please contact our team on 1300 769 814.

Mobile Support

You do not need to be in Anglicare Central Queensland crisis accommodation to use other aspects of our service.

Our team provides a mobile service which brings our services to you. This includes help with planning and budgeting, life skills, and practical and emotional support to help you find a suitable long-term place to call home.
