Financial resilience services
The Financial Resilience Service is a service for adults who are experiencing personal and/or financial issues, including those resulting from a natural disaster.
This service supports and assists adults to take control of your finances and improve their health, wellbeing and connection to family and community.
We engage with individuals to discuss and assess your current financial situation, facilitate problem solving, and develop goals and strategies to improve their financial wellbeing. Our staff will assist you to build your financial skills, knowledge and confidence.
For more information or to access our Financial Resilience program, call 1300 769 814. This service is available in our Rockhampton, Biloela and Gladstone Centre.
Emergency relief consistently provides assistance for people going through a period of crisis. You’ll work with one of our case managers to identify and address the issues that led to your crisis, and give you the skills and resources for you to get back on your feet.
Our emergency relief service can also provide advice, information, and referrals for financial counselling and other services.
Assistance may be available to help with rent arrears, some living expenses or the costs associated with finding a permanent place to live.
This service is currently only available in Rockhampton and Biloela.
