Easier access, professional collaboration and increasing community connections has inspired the move to a new location for Anglicare Central Queensland in Longreach.
The busy start to 2018 has seen our team continue to shine a light of future possibilities for many western Queensland residents, and moving towards the future, we are committed to further expanding our reach in order to work with more individuals and families to live their best life.
Moving closer to the town centre will enable us to boost community connections with our partners, and make it much easier for those requiring our support to locate our support workers. Importantly, the new premise at 124c Eagle Street promotes easier access for our participants including disability access.
The relocation will also reduce confusion in the community by bringing both Anglicare Central Queensland and Southern Queensland under the one roof.
Anglicare Southern Queensland has delivered aged care services in Longreach, operating a long term respite centre and a ‘help at home’ program supporting people to stay in their homes for longer.
Anglicare Central Queensland concentrates our efforts on keeping children safe, ensuring everyone has a safe and secure place to call home, encouraging healthy minds through our mental health program and promoting community inclusion to those living with a disability.
In addition to a new location Anglicare Central Queensland’s contact number has changed. Our staff can now be reached on the new local number 4658 0464.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your ongoing support of Anglicare Central Queensland. For more information, or to find out more about the services provided by Anglicare Central Queensland, visit our website at anglicarecq.org.au or call our team on 4658 0464.
